UAMCC BOARD OF DIRECTORS 2010

Currently the UAMCC is governed by a Board of Directors. The new board has taken over the task of furthering the UAMCC journey as of January 1, 2010. Look for the new biographies of each board member coming soon.

Scott Millen - President

After a period of undergraduate study at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, Scott Milen became an active union warehouseman and truck driver in the moving and storage industry. As a union steward he was trained and gained extensive experience in conflict resolution and negotiation. Scott was active in efforts to democratize the union at the local and national levels. In time he served in management positions in several of the largest moving and storage companies in the Omaha metropolitan area, overseeing operations and personnel. While recovering from an injury, Scott conceived the dream that became Stainless Deal. Stainless Deal services both commercial businesses and residential needs.

John Orr - Treasurer

John Orr, an attendee of the University of Milwaukee, family man and the owner of Low-Pressure Exterior Cleaning is a pioneer in what is commonly referred to as soft washing. John assures his Chesapeake, VA customers get outstanding service as well as the peace of mind that comes from a no damage wash. John has spent ten years helping new company owners via the industry forums grow their business by offering this type of service. John’s attention to detail and his established trust as an industry leader made him an ideal candidate for treasurer of the organization.

Trevor Steel - Secretary

Trevor W. Steel is the owner of Clean Image Pressure Washing, LLC. in Maryland. He also founded the Fleet Wash Academy which is a group of contractors in the mobile truck washing industry that have come together to network, share, learn and grow their business and their industry. At the age of 16 Trevor bought his first pressure washer and began to hand out fliers door to door. By the age of 18 he had 2 full time employees and had worked his way into commercial pressure washing. Trevor was known in his small town as a young entrepreneur. Trevor married his high school sweet heart at the age of 21 and they moved to Maryland to pursue a venture in mobile contract cleaning and fleet washing. Trevor W. Steel now serves as the secretary of the United Association of Mobile Contract Cleaners (UAMCC).

Michael Tessaro

Michael is the owner of Centex Pressure Washing Service, specializing in cleaning and degreasing of commercial kitchen exhaust systems. Bringing quality service to Central Texas and beyond since 1987.

My professional background includes a B.S. in Education, from Southwest Texas State University in 1977. With experience as a classroom teacher, teaching at public, private and university level courses, I have been a general contractor in residential and commercial construction. I have always been an entrepreneur. When the construction industry crashed in 1987 I began Centex Pressure Washing Service specializing in cleaning and degreasing Kitchen Exhaust Systems. In over 20 years of running a successful business, I have learned the value of keeping abreast of the ever changing trends of the service industry. I have been a member of various trade organizations both local and national as they pertain to my associated business. I am currently a member of San Marcos Chamber of Commerce, UAMCC, The Grease Police and several other civic and service organizations.

I am married to Patricia, my wife of 34 years. We have three grown son and a new grandson. We enjoys many activities together including fishing, hunting, boating, traveling and riding our motorcycle with friends and family. We are supporting members and attends Cypress Creek Church. We also supports many local and national charities like The Salvation Army, Hays County Area Food Bank and Marine Corp Family Foundation.

Mike Cook

Guy Blackmon

Guy is the President of Pressure Kleen LLC, a Professional power washing service located in Dublin N.C.. Pressure Kleen services both Residential & Commercial Customers throughout Southeastern North Carolina. Pressure Kleen’s main service area is Fayetteville N.C., proud home of the 82nd Airborne, Pope Air Force Base, and Fort Bragg.

Guy and his Wife Mary have been Married for 20 years, and have 3 Children and 1 Grandchild.
